Privacy

What this site keeps, in plain words.

Visits

I count page views and a few interactions (how far you scroll, whether you open the X-ray view, which links you click) so I can see what's working. There are no tracking cookies and no ads. To tell visitors apart for a single day, the site makes an anonymous code from your IP address and browser plus a random value that changes every day and is then thrown away, so you're a different, unknown visitor tomorrow. I never store your IP address itself.

Ideas you send

If you pitch an idea, I keep what you wrote, plus your name and email if you give them, so I can read it and reply. I won't sell it, share it, or add you to a mailing list. Ask me to delete it any time.

Votes and comments

Thumbs up or down need no sign-in; your vote is tied to the same anonymous daily code as above. To comment, you sign in with Google, and I keep your comment, the name on your Google account (shown with your comment) and your email (never shown, never shared). An AI checks each comment for spam or abuse before it appears. Ask me to delete your comments any time.

Where it lives

Everything is stored in my own Google Cloud account. Nothing goes to an advertising or analytics company.

Cookies

The only cookie this site sets is a sign-in cookie, and only if you choose to sign in to comment. It lasts two weeks or until you sign out.
