Can a small AI model on my own computer handle the small jobs and save on cloud calls?

What happened

I ran it for about a month. It turned out it wasn't needed: the small jobs either went to a cloud model that costs pennies, or plain code handled them with better quality.

Verdict: Flop

Not worth the gigabytes it took up. Penny models and plain code did the job better.
